Salicylic Acid

  • Used in acne treatment products, as a preservative in food, and as an intermediate in dye synthesis. It is a white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, and acidic. Store in a cool, dry place and handle with protective gloves and mask, avoiding inhalation and skin contact.
